Review of Aguirre, the Wrath of God (1972) by Deanne H — 27 Dec 2007
Another odd and outstanding film from Herzog. most interesting because the film crew and cast really did live for a couple weeks as the film characters do; on a raft with an outhouse which dumped contents straight into the Amazon.
this is one of the films made with the camera Herzog stole from the Munich film school. I love Herzog's comments on the audio track telling what typical hollywood would have done with a scene, and what he choose to do instead.
