A film which defies belief, description or categorization, for any of a number of reasons. Even to those unfamiliar with the truly incredible circumstances of its creation, it is immediately apparent that both Herzog and Kinski have obliterated the line between genius and insanity.
If the last scenes of this movie have not permanently etched themselves into your consciousness, you are immune to cinema.
