Review of Aguirre, the Wrath of God (1972) by Chris C — 06 Apr 2008
The best thing about herzog movies is how nature is perhaps the most important member of the cast. this becomes particularly evident towards the end of the film, as it just becomes a mockery of aguirre's megalomania.
as insane as he gets, nature is behind him, sneering and laughing, with its foot on his throat.
