All of Herzog's movies have that documentary feel, and that's what I love about this because it makes us feel as if we're going down the river with the crew. Don Lope de Aguirre is a bad man, and I love Kinski in this role.
Great scenery and Herzog films it beautifully! Excellent story about the journey to madness.
