Review of Aguirre, the Wrath of God (1972) by Zachary N — 05 Nov 2011
Almost as old as me, this movie tells of an epic trek in search of El Dorado set in the 16th century. Supposedly based on a priest's journal (this is fiction), the script was improvised on the hoof and the unpredictability of the increasingly obssessive Aguirre makes for an edge of your seat watch.
