Review of Aguirre, the Wrath of God (1972) by Millo T — 09 Mar 2012
The main point from the movie (not with instruments enough to make it believable, dull, lacking an opportune place and men composition, and with the common problems -or attractions- of all the stories about the jungle, that is, craziness and chaos) is to watch Klaus Kinksy, the ugliest man of the world, out of rage (who was the mother of the beautiful Natassja Kinski?, I want to know!), and all the dramatic stories about how the movie was made, with mutual threatening between Kinski and Herzog, infrahuman conditions, and the indians offering Herzog to kill Kinski.
But you won´t find anything different from other movies about America discovery and conquer (or different from Conrad) but Kinski. Of course, nice scenario in the jungle.
