Review of Aguirre, the Wrath of God (1972) by G S — 02 Apr 2012
Disorienting film that ends very powerfully. Kinski's ambitious madman compares to that of Brando's Colonel Kurtz in Apocalypse Now as the greatest acting performances I've ever seen. A lot of worthwhile dialogue and imagery.
One of the best endings to a film ever.
