Easily one of the greatest and most influential films I've ever seen; it simply will not let you go or let you forget. The term "masterpiece" is bandied about far too easily these days, but such a moniker is the least this mesmerizing piece of filmmaking deserves, arguably the best film of one of the greatest auteurs in world cinema.
