An absolutely amazing film depicting the horrors of dominance and portraying a terrifyingly mysterious jungle that matches Apocalypse Now. Aguirre is such a determined yet selfish character that Herzog seems to revel in his presence when he can, despite the fact that he suggests it as the downfall of the character.
