This is a powerful film. Nick Hooker deserves tremendous credit for bringing us a story of substance when the world expected just another superficial treatment of one of the world's most famous playboys and jet-setters.
Yes, it is about Gianni Agnelli and yes, it covers all that stuff. But it also is a rich portrait of a family, a company, a country, and several political eras. Using this man to bring all that to life was a brilliant choice.
And about the man? Well, the film gives us his full, Shakespearean measure.
