Review of Against the Dark (2009) by Hrachia S — 08 Feb 2009
Seagal taking on Vampire/Zombies could have been interesting, and I am generally quite forgiving of Seagal movies. You know exactly what you get after all. This one was strange, somehow to get from one side of the town, to the other, the only way is through a Hospital, which one group somehow enters at 3+ floor.
All corridors and stairsways all lead to one set of "security doors". Imagine the fire-hazard there, where a whole hospital has to exit through just one garage door. In addition, they have to get out before the power goes out, or they will be trapped forever (including the way both teams got in somehow).
The 2nd group entered from ground-level, and yet met on the 3rd floor, team up, and take elevator down. Also, there was _a lot_ of walking, walking.. Some side stories taking from Legend (we are now the bad guys).
It seemed that they are trying to setup the other Hunter guy with Seagal as he got a lot of solo-side-ass-kicking. There was also the outside military, who once the world-sized infestation problem of just cleansing one hospital, packed-up and "we are done here".
