Review of Afternoon Delight (2013) by Panta O — 23 Feb 2014
If this were a cutesy Disney film, it could be called "Adopt-a-Stripper". The acting by Hahn and Temple are good, but I'm not sure what conclusion to draw from the story - all the complications between the characters arise from wrong premises, taken root after the 1960's, which lead to bad behavior and poor judgement.
If the director really wanted to be daring and countercultural, she could have been subversively critical of those premises, but, being a feminist, she is not going to be. And so we are left with what?
