Review of After the Wedding (2006) by Tanvir M — 15 Oct 2012
A powerful drama, spanning slums in India and affluence in Denmark. In the hands of a lesser director, could have become a sappy melodrama, but the restraints that Bier exercises, make this Oscar nominated film both moving and deeply poignant.
