Review of After the Sunset (2004) by Wendy S — 27 May 2009
Hayek and Brosnan's characters are at the top of their game, and upon 'retiring', Brosnan just can't sit still. It's definately watchable with these two as eye candy all throughout the film, but doesn't focus on the details/ impossibility of the heist for any length of time, or the gangster (Cheadle's) involvement, which was a neat little switcheroo that needed further coverage.
Instead, it concentrates on how he's keeping a secret from his own partner, and creating a solid alibi, which makes it less appealing in the challenge. Call me picky.
