Review of After the Dark (2013) by Daniel B — 11 Jan 2015
I did not expect much from this movie, watching it solely because the music score is composed by my favorite musician - Jonathan Davis -, but it detonated my preconception in an atomic blast (pun intended).
The movie is a visually impressive and an immersive experience unlike most I have seen in recent memory. It threw me back into my high school years and my philosophy of ethics class I took concurrently at a community college.
The themes revolve around notions of love, happiness, and what is truly important in our lives. Highly recommended.
