Review of After Life (1999) by David N — 07 Jun 2007
The most charmingly simplistic filmmaking style is given a hugely complex philosophical question and a tragic love story that hovers between two worlds. Film has never been so respected a medium in the suggestion that heaven can be a celluloid dream, while few groups of actors, so many of them elderly, have ever felt so emotional and real.
An inspiring experience.
