Review of After Life (1999) by Private U — 30 Nov 2008
I can't recall if I discovered After Life or Maboroshi first some years ago although I do remember immediately picking up the other right after returning the first tape.
Kore-eda has cemented himself as one of the world's finest young directors and this interesting and existential view at what life after death might be like was the film that caused me to feel like it was a title he deserved.
