Review of After Earth (2013) by Lawrence M — 20 May 2014
A mediocre film. Will Smith was good, but Jaden really can't carry a sci fi film yet. Overall the story felt like a bad mission from a video game. The special effects were dated and the wrong director was chosen for this project.
I didn't hate it but it felt like something I would watch on cable rather than a big summer blockbuster at the movies. Very disappointing.
