The film isn't the major disaster that a lot of people are saying it is, it's not plan 9 or anything, but it is a wholly uninteresting story. The film doesn't really do a whole lot with the scifi setting so in the end it's mostly just a wilderness survival tale with an occasional alien or two.
If you want to watch a good movie, you won't find it here, while at the same time people who enjoy making fun of bad movies will probably just be bored.
