Review of After Earth (2013) by Zachary T — 06 Feb 2014
Shyamalan has become not one of the worse directors but the most careless. 'After Earth' is his latest endeavor in trying to win over the younger crowd but once again has failed miserably. Shyamalan IS capable of making a good movie, his first few films serve as a good example.
What I think he should do is take a break for awhile, take a step back and figure out what it is exactly he wants. If he doesn't care anymore then there is no place for him in the film industry.
