Review of Afro Samurai: Resurrection (2009) by Lavaughn H — 07 Feb 2009

Resurrection was fairly disappointing. None of the characters stand out as much as they did in the original series. Afro is washed up, Kuma is a walking vegetable, and Sio (Lucy Liu) is decent but she is no Justice.

I beat the game before I watched this movie. Although the game had some serious flaws, the poignant twist at the end of the game was far effective than anything in Resurrection (although I give it credit for trying).
