Review of Afro Samurai: Resurrection (2009) by Andrew L — 11 Feb 2009

I was highly anticipating the follow-up of the first part of Afro Samurai. I really enjoyed the first one a lot. Had excellent character development, action, story, music. I was very impressed, which set a high standard when I came to watch this continuation.

In the end, I was quite disappointed. It still had great action, but what lacked was the care of the story and character. I felt like I didn't care for Afro in this movie. Much less character development as people who already saw the 1st part already knows Afro.

But what can I say, if you're a fan of the first one, you have to see this one.
