Review of Afro Samurai: Resurrection (2009) by Jordan D — 12 Feb 2009

Not as amazing as the first one, more of the same, but who says that's a bad thing? More crazy over the top action scenes, good music, and the story was simple ant to the point. I agree with most of the other reviews on here, in that it tries to live up to its predecessor, but it doesn't do it quite as well as the first one does.

Call it nit picking if you want, but another thing I didn't like was gin's sister- she was sooooo freaking annoying after the 50 scenes of "I want to kill afro...." we get it already! Still a must see if you're a fan of the original.
