Review of African Cats (2011) by John S — 24 Apr 2011
With some parallel story points to that of the Disney classic "The Lion King", African Cats holds its own with great cinematography and a real nice original score to accompany the movie as it moves along greatly.
Samuel L. Jackson does a great job as well narrating this movie which definitely help tells the story of the Lion Pride and the mother cheetah fending for her cubs. The only thing I question about this movie is the G rating only because of the somewhat darker nature of wild life.
But even that is not a big complaint. Seeing a nature documentary on the big screen done this well really makes a good movie experience.
