Review of African Cats (2011) by Khaled Q — 11 Oct 2011
This felt at times like a live action version of The Lion King. But a very, VERY different story altogether. Nevertheless, it is spectacular to watch and really pulls on that inner child that fell in love with The Lion King.
The cinematography is fantastic and the story is amazing. Yes it is a story that we've seen and heard before but it is a timeless classic and presented in such a raw fashion that no matter how predictable the story may be, it still makes you watch the film.
Must watch for every animal lover and anyone who thinks The Lion King was one of the greatest films of all time (people like me). Tip: Watch the credits. They bring a smile.
