It's like spending an afternoon at Nick Nolte's house. His performance is fantastic, but that's to be expected when he plays a lowlife alcoholic on the verge of insanity. The real gem here is James Coburn - as good as Paul Newman was, the best thing he did was turn that role down, because Coburn nailed it.
It was just way too slow moving for me.
