Affinity (2008) is set in the 1870s. It stars Anna Madeley who plays an upper class woman who is grieving due to the death of her father. She decides to became a "Lady Visitor" at a woman's prison.
She develops a friendship with a young female prisoner named Selina (Zoe Tapper) - who is reported to be a medium. This film has beautiful costumes, great acting, and kept the viewers guessing if Selina's intentions are good or not.
