Review of Æon Flux (2005) by Tab — 04 Dec 2005
A great looking sci fi movie that brings new life to the genre using a whole different approach to the traditional future (a new Stanley Kubrick-look) using an innovative approach to sci fi technology.
This whole movie is than wrapped up in a more sophisticated, convoluted plot with heart and emotion that still manages to keep its action and thrills at the same time. While the ending is a little too conventional and some loose ends were never tied up, this movie sets a new bar for science fiction much like Alien did for monster sci fi movies.
