Review of Æon Flux (2005) by Justin R — 30 Aug 2010
This film could have been something special, considering the source material of the original Liquid TV animation. Unfortunately none of the animations inventive art direction makes it's way into the film.
Instead the viewer is slowly but surely bored by an unimaginative and dumbed down version of the original's plot and acted out by a group of uninspired actors. All of the cool 'aeon fluxisms' are handled in the opening scene of the film never to be seen much of again after that.
