Review of Æon Flux (2005) by Ed F — 03 Jun 2010
Dismal sci-fi fare which is as tedious as it is baffling. Kusama gets so wrapped up in the visual side of the film that she forgets to include any sense of fun, and the cast act as if they only showed up for the money, and it shows on screen.
The action is boring and uncreative and the whole dystopian future storyline isn't given much dominance within the narrative, rendering this a misfire on all counts. Avoidable.
