Review of Æon Flux (2005) by Rick G — 18 May 2010
Based on the television series of the same name, which I have never seen, Charlize Theron takes the lead in this sci-fi, action combo coating an interesting and intriguing story and its many developments in an over-abundance of stylized aesthetics and even the over-reliance of Charlize Theron catsuit-clad.
It wasn't offensive, particularly un-interesting or boring, rather it just seemed to lack any impressive artistry, scripting or cinematic prowess, relying too much on a number of Charlize Theron's non-cinematic, leather-friendly attributes.
