A very interesting and often bitterly fought contest and political drama from the heart of American White House politics. Slow to start but rather like good theatre, well-written and performed by a stella ensemble cast of fine old boys, including Henry Fonda, Walter Pidgeon, Don Murray, and the acidic British actor Charles Laughton.
