Review of Adventures of Zatoichi (1964) by Sam J — 28 Feb 2015
The action isn't as polished in this Zatoichi outing, but the story is decent. Zatoichi bonds with an old man who reminds him of his father, and also gets involved with helping a young woman who is kidnapped by a corrupt policeman and crime boss.
Even though the action is less, there are some good sword fights near the end, and the emotional parts of the story are sufficient.
