Review of Adventures in Babysitting (1987) by Matthew — 20 Jun 2009
I've loved this movie since I was a kid. It's just about every kid's dream from age 8 and up to go to the big city and a bunch of crazy stuff happens. Plus it's filled with lots of laughs.
"Road Trip?" "Jesus!" "So where are you going?" "Down town." "The city?" "Sara" "Hey, can I go?" "No, Daryl go home." "Who is this kid?" "Stray dog.
" "Daryl Coopersmith. and you're Chris Parker aren't you?" "Daryle go home." "You must be a great babysitter." "What is he talking about?" "Mr.
and Mrs. Anderson must really trust you to take little kids into the city. Alone." "Sorry can't talk. Got to run." "Don't fuck with the Lords of Hell." "Don't fuck with the babysitter.
" "You gotta be shittin me." "Watch your mouth." "Watch my mouth? You gotta be shittin me." "Come on guys. Think about this. Do you honestly believe a Play Boy centerfold would have nothing better to do on a night like this than to show up at a Kappa party with a bunch of kids? Huh?" "Yea.
Maybe." "Where's your brain?" "Now boys. I swear if you give me any grief over the next 60 minutes I swear to God I'll kill you. Dead. Murdered. Stabbed." "Raped?" "I am too old for this crap.
" You got to love it.
