Review of Adventures in Babysitting (1987) by Tom R — 06 Nov 2009
I can't believe John Hughes didn't write, direct, or produce this because it has so many elements of one of his 80's films: it takes place in Chicago (and suburban Chicago), it's funny in its dialog and ridiculousness, and it ends with a still frame with a scene after the credits.
Adventures in Babysitting is funny because it is so convoluted that you have no choice but to enjoy it. Elisabeth Shue is great and it's fun to watch.
