An unsung 80s teen flick that gives John Hughes a run for his money. The production value transcends its Disneyness and makes it a pretty complete movie. Shue's good eye candy but her supporters outshine her, especially Anthony Rapp as Darryl Coopersmith.
And look how buff D'Onofrio is, how'd he make this and Full Metal Jacket in the same year?
