A typical cheesy 80's comedy film, that doesn't actually make much effort in way of comedy. Which could be viewed as a good thing at least it isn't littered with terrible jokes.
The acting at times is pretty bad mainly coming from the three kids, but the rest do an admirable job without wowing. The plot isn't o bad but is full of obvious plot points and situations.
It may have been good 'back in the day' but this is the future and it just isn't, though I would't actively avoid it, it has an audience it's just not me.
