Review of Adventureland (2009) by Greg A — 14 Nov 2012

I just watched this movie and must say I was blown away. Blown away by not only the fact that this was just a great movie but also by the fact that it was so overlooked when it came out a few months ago.

Really great coming of age movie by the guy who gave us Superbad. Not as over the top as Superbad, but really just a well acted, funny, and touching movie that ranks right up there with the other great movies of the genre.

Its one of those teenage comedies yet all the main characters are over the age of 21, making the movie a bit more relevant to me. The setting of 1987 adds a lot to the movie as well... especially with the music.

Also... Kristin Stewart is wayyyyyyyyyyy hotter as Em than she is as Bella! If you haven't seen this movie then I recommend seeing it when you can.
