Very enjoyable! Has a Hughesian twinge, incorporating the nagging, unattainable childhood dream, as adult complexity takes the helm. Beyond these quite heavy undertones of the film lie funny, entertaining asides, one of the more enjoyable being the aloof, benevolent presence of Bill Hader and the always hilarious Kristen Wiig (even her name's fun to say.
Go on, say it). All in all a great little period dramedy, with all of the goofiness of the '80s, a la Freaks and Geeks.
