Review of Adventureland (2009) by Sarab — 02 May 2009
Set in 1987, this story about a young man's return, after graduation, from that bastion of liberalism, Oberlin College, to his hometown of Pittsburgh is a surprisingly wonderful movie. I was expecting a movie more along the lines of "Superbad", and while it had touches of crass male adolescence -- it was much more integrated into the storyline.
It reminded me of "The Graduate" for the next generation.
