Review of Adrift (2018) by Joecool — 27 Jul 2019
Surprisingly engaging romantic drama, even if at times pretty cheesy and at others somewhat boring. Being adrift at sea can't be at least somewhat boring I guess. The frequent flashbacks mostly work as character development, even if some leave you wondering why they're in there.
The solid acting by the leads is what make this movie worth seeing even when it stays just shy of the green.
