Review of Adrenaline Rush: The Science of Risk (2002) by Michaela R — 16 Mar 2008
Finally someone decided to test Leonardo DaVinci's concept of the parachute. Most of this IMAX flick stems from ideas from DaVinci sketchbook. Of course, there are many beautifully captured nature shots.
A couple of Peter Gabriel songs help to keep this film lively. The narration and the "science" tend to bog down this short film. However, it is all related to humans and how adrenaline is utilized differently.
Overall, I enjoyed the many types of skydiving shown and the varied perspectives of flight.
