Review of Adoration ou la transsubstantiation (1987) by Adam C — 08 May 2009
Incredibly heavy-handed meditation on terrorism and tolerance. Far less mystery then I expected. I wanted to like it more, but in the end the preachy script turned me off. I enjoy message movies and prefer a cerebral script over the schlock Hollywood craps out on the regular, but I 'd rather the audience be given a little more liberty to formulate their own thoughts then what Egoyan offers in Adoration.
