Review of Adoration ou la transsubstantiation (1987) by Bevan S — 13 Dec 2009
Elegantly filmed and acted, Egoyan is so focused on his big statements that he forgets to fill out parts of his story, relying on the obliqueness to carry it - and he really drops the ball on the Internet portion of the movie, using it as a device rather than exploring its place in the story to the fullest.
He just tries to accomplish way too much at once here.
