Review of Adoration (2009) by Peter L — 26 Apr 2009
Atom Egoyan's latest film has a compelling story which draws you in. It's a complex film with many layers. It's about how a story of a near-terrorist attack told by a high school student involving his own personal history becomes a catalyst for debate about the nature of terrorism, prejudice, and how people use each other for their own motivations.
I loved the use of a visual internet chat room as the Greek chorus commentary and the haunting violin score.
