Review of Adoration (2009) by Taha Z — 04 Jun 2009
Atom Egoyan really is a master at creating narrative films that slowly peel apart like an onion, only revealing subtle touches until the very end. He has created a film that is part commentary on family, terrorism, and technology.
Scott Speedman really surprised me with a phenominal performance. In the hands of most directors this film would have came off as convoluted or even incomprehensible but Egoyan pulls it off beautifully.
