Review of Adoration (2009) by Raelene L — 12 Aug 2009
I have not watched this movie. I gave it full marks because of this. The reason that I'm writing a review is because while reading the synopsis I realized that the plot of this movie is that of a real event.
I'm sorry to be "one of those guys", but I read a book (I no longer have it, so I don't know the title/author) that was by a retired FBI agent. He explained different cases that he worked on during his career.
One of them was about a reclusive son that lived with his mother. The son was atleast in his 20's, but I think he was around 40. His mother goes on a trip and he packs her suitcase for her, adding a bomb that he constructed in their garage.
Luckily they found the bomb before she boarded the plan. They found all the equipment and tools in the garage and arrested the son. I think this happened in the early ninties, but I'm not sure which state or the names---sorry.
For any of those interested, you might be able to find something about it. Sorry that the info. is thin on the subject, but I assure you this was a real event.
