Review of Admission (2013) by Alicia P — 23 Mar 2013
I love Tina Fey, but this whole movie was a little messy--not funny enough to be a comedy, not romantic enough to be a rom-com, and not meaningful or intelligent enough to be a heart-warmer. Paul Rudd seemed confused in a role other than his typical too-cool-to-care niche, and a scattering of daddy and mommy issues only made the already-weak story cliche.
This is one Fey movie that's better to rent.
