Review of Admission (2013) by Ray S — 25 Mar 2013
This definitely falls on my list of one of the worst movies I've seen in a good while. The entire movie was practically plot-less. I was expecting a romantic comedy but what I got was a lady who tries to get this kid into Princeton who she thinks is her son.
Two hours of complete boredom. I was thinking 'hey! It's Tina Fey! This'll be hilarious!" How about no? I was more entertained in juggling popcorn that I was in the movie. Maybe the fact that my entire theater was empty should've been a fair warning.
And not to mention the 'connection' between her and Paul Rudd. I mean, come on! The kiss scene that is reveled in the previews makes no sense, and is quite sudden. In fact, there is no relationship development in the entire movie.
It just happens that all of a sudden they start making out... and yeah. Quite pathetic in my opinion. I don't believe this movie deserves the rating that it has.
