Judging by the negative reviews I've seen, I can only assume that one of two things has happened: Either most people went into this expecting a slapstick comedy with no depth and were disappointed when it wasn't just a movie full of stupid humor, or most people have no soul.

I'd like to think it's the former. At any rate, I loved it. There's just enough comedy to keep it light, but there's also a great story behind it, and it doesn't need to be crass or offensive to be entertaining.

If more comedies were like this one, I would enjoy the genre much more.
